Shoulder and Upper Back Exercise with Band by Chad Beacom
This Shoulder and Upper Back Exercise (known as band pull-aparts) is an isolation exercise designed to target specific muscle groups in your shoulders and upper back. It’s a great exercise to help with shoulder and posterior chain strength.
How-To Steps:
- Stand with the arms in front of you and hold a band between your hands. Move the arms horizontally backward with the palms facing down while squeezing the shoulder blades together.
- Keep the chin neutral during the exercise and always do this exercise with a controlled movement.
- Return to the starting position and repeat.
