Downward Dog with Calf Extensions Stretch by Physiotherapist Anna Pelczar
The downward dog with calf extensions stretch is a great stretch for your calves! It also helps strengthen and stretch your whole body as long as you engage your core and keep your back in the neutral position.
How to do this exercise:
- Start in a plank position with your wrists directly under your shoulders and your feet about shoulder width apart
- Push your hips up towards the ceiling, letting your head come in between your arms
- Pedal out your feet by dropping one heel to the ground at a time. Alternate.
*Repeat for 10 repetitions for 2–3 sets.

*Never do an exercise that causes you pain*
