A Career at SOS

We are currently hiring for various positions throughout the SOS organization and are always looking for the best recruits to add to our team!

Do you want to learn and grow as a professional in the healthcare field and do it with a group that wants to get better and support each other in the process? Then this is the place for you. Where other clinics talk about mentoring, we live by it. Both in a team setting and individually, we give you the skills (hands-on, case management, patient engagement, etc.) to create a loyal following of patients who also WANT to get better! Looking for leadership opportunities and ways to progress in your professional career and one day partner in your own clinic? We can show you the way. Interested? Let’s have a call, sit down for a pint, kick a few ideas around, and see if there’s a fit! Email us at careers@sosphysiotherapy.ca

CLINICIANS

Physiotherapist and Partner Courtney Voisin

I became part of the SOS team in 2019, shortly after graduating from my Masters of Physical Therapy degree at Western University. What started as my first job as a new clinician quickly turned into a second home where I’ve been able to grow both personally and professionally. The mentorship, collaboration, and support of my team made it easy to continue building my career here. Over time, that journey led me from clinician to Clinical Director, and ultimately to becoming a Partner at our Belmont location. I’m proud to be part of a team that truly values growth, teamwork, and providing great care for our community (and has a blast while doing it!)

My journey with SOS Physiotherapy began during my time at Western University, where I was completing my Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. I had the pleasure of completing a clinical placement at the Elmira clinic, which gave me an incredible first impression of the team, the values, and the standard of care provided here. Fast forward 2.5 years, and I’ve had the privilege of growing as a clinician within this supportive and collaborative environment. What makes working at SOS truly special is the positive culture and sense of community I experience every day—surrounded by passionate co-workers who are always willing to support one another and help each other succeed.

“My journey with SOS Physiotherapy began in 2023 at the Northfield clinic, where I quickly felt welcomed into a team that values collaboration, growth, and patient-centered care. I had the opportunity to work alongside knowledgeable and supportive professionals who all share the same goal of helping patients feel better, move with confidence, and return to the activities they enjoy.
I later transitioned to the Guelph location, where I stepped into my role as Lead Massage Therapist. This was an exciting milestone in my career and has allowed me to continue growing while contributing to the positive and supportive team environment that makes SOS Physiotherapy so special.
What I appreciate most about being part of this team is the culture. The staff at SOS are committed to the clinic’s core values: being positive, striving to improve, enjoy working hard, lifting each other up, and recognizing the value in everyone. Being surrounded by such a supportive team makes it incredibly rewarding to help patients on their path to recovery and overall wellness.”

SUPPORT STAFF

“I’ve been with the SOS Physiotherapy family since 2016 and it’s been a blessing ever since! Throughout my time here, everyone has been supportive of my growth and have given me the flexibility in hours to raise my girls mostly from home. As a patient experience coordinator, I felt just as much a part of the team and valuable to the company as the actual Physiotherapists. Then, as the marketing coordinator, I got an inside look at running things, and what I love most is that the patient’s well-being always comes first. Now, as Marketing and Communications Manager, I get to focus on growing the company to help more people and mentor and train co-op students along the way!”

“One of the things I love about SOS Physiotherapy is the upbeat atmosphere of each clinic. The SOS team loves to welcome all their patients with open arms into an exciting and fun environment so they feel comfortable and encouraged to reach their rehabilitation goals. SOS Physiotherapy strives to make all patients and staff feel like part of the SOS family from the moment they walk in the doors. That’s one of the many things that makes working here so enjoyable!”

STUDENTS

Brett Timbeck Kinesiology student and co-op at SOS Physiotherapy

Hi everyone! My name is Brett Timbeck, and I’m a Kinesiology student from the University of Waterloo. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to complete four co-op placements with SOS Physiotherapy – three at the Elmira clinic and one at Northfield. I truly cannot say enough good things about my time at SOS. The clinicians are incredibly accommodating and genuinely encourage learning day in and day out. The opportunities to shadow and gain hands-on experience are unmatched, and they always made time for me to ask questions and problem-solve independently. What I’ve loved most about working at SOS is that it’s not just a team; it’s a family. After playing four years of varsity football at UW, I really missed that big piece of my life, but I can confidently say I’ve found my new family at SOS!
