Living Well with Chronic Pain & Illness

Join our Psychotherapist for a 5 Week Supervised Support Group

Join us at our SOS Physiotherapy Guelph clinic for a weekly, 5 week support group for those suffering from chronic pain/illness looking to learn more tools to improve their quality of life.

Living with pain and illness can be physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausting. We can lose sight of ourselves, disconnect from others, and grieve the life we imagined for ourselves.  “Living well with chronic pain and illness” is a 5-week group designed to help you reconnect with your body, find rest within discomfort, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself and your life.

Together we will:

  • Practice mindfulness and grounding practices.
  • Explore ways to manage distressing emotions and thoughts around pain.
  • Learn tools for finding meaning, connection, and joy – even with limitations.
  • A supportive space with others who understand your experiences.

With a small group, you will be guided by Ali Darling, a Registered Psychotherapist with experience supporting clients with ambiguous loss, life transitions, and chronic pain. If you are looking for new ways to cope, connect, and live meaningfully – this group may be for you. Register today for more information!
