Archer Rotation Upper Back Stretch

Archer Rotation Upper Back Stretch by Coulton Roe

The Archer Rotation Upper Back Stretch is a great stretch for your upper back and neck. If you find yourself stiff or in the same position a long time, give this a try!

How-To Steps:

  1. Sit tall. Imagine you have a bow and arrow, starting with both hands forward.
  2. Pull one hand back, as if you’re ‘drawing’ the bow. Focus on rotating through your upper back. Return to Centre
  3. Repeat 10 times on one side then 10 times on the other side.

*Modification: If you have shoulder pain with this movement, you can cross the arms over the chest and do the rotation ‘without the bow and arrow’
