The Knee Hug is a simple stretching exercise that helps gently stretch the lower back and gluteal muscles. I really like to include this in my morning routine as it helps me warm up and get going before getting out of my bed. If you’re looking for an easy, gentle way to start your day or relieve tention in your lower back, give this a try!
How-To Steps:
- Lie on your back with both knees bent
- Hug one knee in towards your chest
- Bring the other knee to join it, and use your hands to hug the knees until you feel a comfortable stretch in the lower back.
