This is a great stretch for anyone who is either experiencing a stiff, sore neck, or wants to avoid it getting that way. Natlie is the Lead Registered Massage Therapist for SOS and works out of our SOS Guelph clinic. Below she explains step-by-step how to do this stretch properly.

How to do this stretch:
- Place a bath towel behind your neck, holding one end in each hand.
- With your right hand, reach under the towel to hold the left end.
- With your left hand, hold the right end and bring it up and over the side of your head near your right ear.
- Gently apply a slow, controlled pull to stretch the right side of your neck.
*Hold for 15–20 seconds.
**Repeat 3–5 times on each side, twice daily
***Never do an exercise of stretch if it causes you pain
