Stair Calf Strengthening Exercise by Physiotherapist Ali Shaw
This calf exercise is good for both strengthening and stretching the calves. All you need is a step or stool!
Benefits:
- On a staircase or step, using the railing for support, balance with half your foot on the step and half off
- Slowly and carefully, lift up on the toes as far as feels comfortable
- Then slowly lower down, dropping your heels below the level of the step
- Repeat!
