Hip and Low Back Stretch by Physiotherapist Resident Amanda Calford
This is a great stretch for the front of your hips and low back. It’s especially great if you’ve been sitting a while and it’s super easy!
- Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, stepping one foot slightly more forward than the other and put your hands on your hips.
- Slowly tilt your pelvis upward a bit using your core and glute muscles.
- Shift your weight straight forward and a little bit up, opening up the front of your hip for a good stretch.
*This should not be a painful movement.

*Never do an exercise that causes you pain*
