I use this wrist exercise a lot for patients who are in the subacute phase of recovering from a wrist injury and arent quite ready for concentrics / eccentrics. Its a great way to build stability and introduce strengthening.

  1. Start with your wrist in neutral and holding the hammer
  2. Slowly and in a controlled manner, lower the hammer down to touch each side of the table
  3. The lower you grip the hammer the more challenging it becomes
