Shoulder Pulley Exercise by Ali Dings
This shoulder pulley exercise is a GREAT and GENTLE way to get the shoulders moving and stretching. It is ideal for people with very stiff or sore shoulders that are looking for one of the most gentle and easy ways to get a stretch in the shoulder joints without putting too much pressure or stress on them. How-To Steps:
- Start in a seated position with your pulleys attached to the door behind you. Gently grasp the handles so they are in front of your face.
- Slowly pull one hand down to allow the other hand to raise up. Pull down far enough to give the opposite shoulder a stretch (the one raising).
- Now bring the raised hand down all the way and pull it towards your side as the other arm gets pulled up, giving that shoulder a stretch.
