Shoulder Exercise- Wall Slide

Shoulder Exercise-Wall Slide by Coulton Roe

This is a great exercise to work on shoulder blade strength and mobility. Looking to improve your shoulder strength but don’t have a lot of time or equipment? This exercise takes very little time and zero equipment but you will definitely feel the burn if you do it right.  Really focus on moving through your shoulder blades. This should be relatively tiring, but simple!

Do not do this exercise if it is irritating any shoulder pain!

How-To Steps:

  1.  Stand with your body vertical, arms forward, and forearms flat against the wall
  2. Slow and controlled, slide your forearms as high up the wall as you can WITHOUT lifting your elbows off the wall, and without leaning your body forward. Slide them back down to neutral and repeat.
  3. You can add a resistance band around the wrists if you want to make it more challenging.

*3 sets of 15 reps, once or twice a day.
