Core Exercise by Christine Ecclestone
This is a great core exercise to work on fighting a rotation force while keeping the spine in a safe and neutral position. This is a great gentle option for post-partum populations or those trying to build core strength to assist with low back pain.
How-To Steps:
- Lay on your back with your knees bent. Focus on maintaining your low back flat against the bed
- Rotate one hip by dropping one leg towards the bed, do not allow the hips to rotate or the back to come off the bed
- Return to the starting position and repeat with the other leg.

*Never do an exercise that causes you pain*
