Ben Derrough

(HBSc, MSc(PT))

Ben is a Physiotherapy Resident who joined SOS Belmont in September 2025. He completed both his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and his Master of Physical Therapy degrees at Western University.

Ben brings a diverse range of experiences to his practice, from a background in hockey and high-performance training to leading older adult exercise programs and contributing to research. He integrates these experiences into his evidence-based, patient-centred approach to care, combining exercise, education, and manual therapy to help individuals return to the activities they love most.

He has a strong appreciation for the role physical activity plays in overall health and well-being and strives to empower his patients through movement and understanding of their condition. Ben also plans to pursue further training in dry needling and concussion/vestibular rehabilitation to expand his clinical skill set.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll find Ben at the gym, playing squash, golfing, playing recreational hockey, cycling, and hiking.
