Upper Back Stretch by Courtney Voisin
I love this upper back stretch to help with posture and improve mobility of the upper back and shoulders. It’s especially great if there is any tension in the upper back after a long day of sitting. It is easy to do and doesn’t require any equipment which makes it convenient.
How-To Steps:
- Start on your knees in front of a chair or bench. Put your elbows on the chair.
- Drop your chest and push the hips back slightly to extend the middle back, keeping your lower back flat.
- Hold this stretch for 15-20 seconds, then come out of the position and repeat 3-5 times, trying to push deeper into the stretch each time.
