Calf Stretch by Anna Belay

A good calf stretch helps improve flexibility in the leg/ankle, relieve muscle soreness, and reduce the risk of future injuries. This is one of my favourite stretching exercises in the summer after my long walks. 

How-To Steps:

  1. Stand facing a wall or any other stable support 
  2. Place both hands on the wall and bring one foot behind you (keep the foot flat on the floor)
  3. Bend the other knee and lean in towards the wall. Hold this position for 30 seconds and repeat on the other side.
