Physiotherapist Assistant/Kinesiologist

SOS Physiotherapy is a well-established clinic serving the Kitchener-Waterloo community for over 31 years. We are a Physiotherapist-owned, multi-disciplinary clinic, with three locations within the Tri-city region. Our practice is patient-centered and results-oriented. We are a motivated and close-knit team that brings out the best in each other and our patients while keeping a positive environment.  SOS Physiotherapy intends to be the provider of choice within the region winning “KW’s Favourite Physiotherapy Clinic” in The Reader’s Choice Awards in 2021 and we strive to be a pillar within our community.

We are looking to add a full-time/part-time Physiotherapist Assistant/Kinesiologist who is looking for a long-term opportunity.   At SOS Physiotherapy, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other practitioners in a multidisciplinary environment to offer the best, evidence-based care to our patients. As an integral part of our team, you will work alongside manual and manipulative physiotherapists assisting them with patient care.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Is a graduate of the Occupational Physiotherapist Assistant/ Physiotherapist Assistant program or has obtained their Kinesiology Degree
  • Has an interest in life-long learning, professional development and evidence-based practice
  • Is comfortable working as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is professional and respectful, and will foster a positive environment that is friendly and welcoming to everyone
  • Is able to Multitask and keep patient flow within the clinic
  • Can adapt quickly to changing environments and keep with the pace of a busy clinic
  • Willingly participates in occasional community events to help promote our practice
  • Shows initiative and has a strong work ethic
  • Goes above and beyond to ensure the highest quality of care for each client
