QL Low Back Stretch by Anna Belay
QL (quadratus lumborum) Low Back Stretch is one of my favourite back stretches that helps relieve my low back tension and pain (especially when sitting for prolonged time at home).
How-To Steps:
- Sit down on the floor with legs straight to the side
- Bend the knee on the side you would like to stretch
- Lift the same-side arm overhead and lean towards the opposite side
*Hold this stretch for 30 seconds; you should feel a comfortable stretch in your side (between the hips and ribs)
