Melissa Norris, BSc(Kin), MSc(PT), CIDN
Melissa is a Registered Physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor of Science Honours Kinesiology degree from the University of Waterloo, and attended the University of Western Ontario for her Masters of Physiotherapy degree.
Melissa has taken post-graduate courses to add to her treatment approach, including Soft Tissue Release, Mulligan therapy techniques, and is trained in STOTT Pilates for rehab therapists. She also holds her Level 1 and 2 Traditional Acupuncture through AFCI, and is certified in Integrated Dry Needling Acupuncture. Melissa continues to expand her manual therapy skills by working through the Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy level system and will be working towards her FCAMPT certification.
Melissa ensures that every client understands their injury fully, and that they are comfortable and confident with their individualized treatment plan. She aims to have each client be an active participant in their care, and makes sure that all movement mechanics that are at fault are addressed in their treatment program.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys going for runs with her standard poodle Ricki, and is often travelling up to Sauble Beach to enjoy beautiful Bruce County.
