Evan Lukasik

(BSc(HK), MScPT)

Evan has completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from Queen’s University and also an Honour’s Bachelor degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. Evan has taken numerous continuing education courses since graduating including achieving a certificate in strength and conditioning in the rehabilitation population as well as being certified in acupuncture and dry needling. He grew up in St.Catharines, however, has now been living in KW since graduating from PT school. In his spare time Evan loves traveling, being active, hiking with his black lab Maitland, and playing sports, namely, hockey, baseball and any racquet sports, including tennis and pickleball. When he is not moving, Evan can be found on a couch watching sports (Go Jays Go!), binging The Office, or watching whatever is new on Netflix.

Evan’s treatment philosophy involves using an active, hands-on, patient-centered approach that is focused around each patients’ goals and getting them back to the functional activities that they want to be doing. In your first visit with Evan, he will take the time to get to know you, hear your story and understand why you need help, and what your functional goals are. Evan’s goal is to empower all his patients and provide them with the tools they need to take control of their rehabilitation. Evan has treated a wide range of populations in a variety of settings including: professional athletes, geriatric populations, post-surgical patients, osteoarthritis, and of course, the weekend warrior injuries including: back pain and myofascial injuries (sprains, strains, tendinopathies).

Evan is looking forward to helping you through your rehab journey and getting you back to doing the things you love!

Fun Fact: Evan completed a 6 week physiotherapy placement in Cape Town, South Africa where he worked with Cape Town City FC.
